Nine years in a row we make MeetingsNet’s CMI25 list

29 September 2020

As September 2020 nears an end, we were thrilled to learn this month that once again we were named as one of CMI’s ‘Top 25 Meetings & Live Event Agencies’ in the US

The annual report from MeetingsNet, a leading media outlet for the meetings and incentives industry, is a unique resource for corporations looking for experienced event-planning partners. In aggregate, the companies on the 2020 CMI 25 list executed more than 165,000 corporate meetings and just over 8,000 incentive travel programs in 2019, and those events used more than 15 million room nights at hotels and resorts around the world.

This is the ninth consecutive year we’ve been recognised for this accolade, and Global COO Gavin Houston is especially proud to celebrate the positive news during such an extraordinary time.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has tested so many industries across the globe, but the meetings and events sector was obviously negatively affected at a very early stage,” says Gavin. “Yet during this time, I’ve seen our incredible teams pull together like never before to ensure our healthcare clients can continue their vital meetings and events in a virtual setting.”

Gavin continues, “With many having to pivot their meetings to hybrid or online within incredibly tight timescales, our clients have relied on our management, creative, content, production and virtual meetings expertise in order to maintain those memorable experiences for their attendees. And, we’ve seen some truly outstanding results and received fantastic feedback. Every day, I’ve seen our people drawing upon our company values – Quality, Partnership, Ingenuity, Expertise and Energy – and I couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve achieved for our clients. Being named as one of the top 25 meetings and live event agencies in the US for the ninth consecutive year is a huge morale boost and I know everyone in our business will be delighted.”

Sue Hatch, content director for MeetingsNet added, “It’s a privilege to celebrate the CMI 25 companies, all of which had great success bringing groups together for training and education, recognition, networking, and more in 2019. While 2020 has been an extraordinarily difficult year for the meetings and incentives industry, the experience and creativity these companies bring to the table will serve them well as they face the challenges of creating engaging virtual meetings and developing new operating procedures for the return to face-to-face events.”

The CMI 25 profiles include statistics on business volume, top customer markets, and company news to give readers a sense of the size and focus of these industry-leading firms.

The CMI 25 list is published in the September 2020 issue of the MeetingsNet digital edition and on www.meetingsnet.com.
